Welcome to My Personal Page
Welcome to my fundraising page! I'm running Ragnar Relay Cape Cod and fundraising to support the mission and programs of The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp.
Founded in 1988 by Paul Newman, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is dedicated to providing "a different kind of healing" to more than 20,000 seriously ill children and family members annually - all completely free of charge. For many of these children and families, Hole in the Wall provides multiple Camp experiences throughout the year at the facility in Ashford, Conn., in more than 40 hospitals and clinics, directly in camper homes and communities, and through other outreach activities across the Northeast.
For the past four years, I have worked, volunteered, and had the immense privelege to be a part of the team at Hole in the Wall. I have seen personally how much of a positive difference a family weekend, summer camp session, Hero's Journey wilderness week, or LIT session can mean to a kid who needs some carefree fun, to tired and overworked parents and caregivers, and to young adults finding themselves. Camp has also made an immense difference in my life in helping me find my purpose and discover the person I'm working to become. This summer, I'm returning to Hole in the Wall as the LIT Coordinator. For all the summers, weekends, and events I've worked for camp, I feel like I've received so much more than I've given.
Ragnar has become my way of giving back to this magical place. I am NOT a runner. Last year,my first Ragnar, was one of the most grueling, sweaty, and physically damaging experiences I've been through. It was also incredibly fun and I can't stress enough how cathartic it felt to know I was running for all of my campers that I've gotten to know over the years, and that I'll meet down the road. Last year our team raised over $10,000-- enough to send four kids to camp for a week! When I consider the fact that my own camp journey that's led me to be who I am today started with just a week, I think sending four more kids is a pretty powerful outcome.

Please help me reach (or even exceed!) my goal. With your generosity, we can all share in the joy of knowing that we are helping to provide "a different kind of healing" to seriously ill children and family members.
